Shih Tzu Pedia is an independent website for Shih Tzu owners and future owners. We publish plain-language guides on Shih Tzu health, food, grooming, training and daily care. Every guide is built on published veterinary research and trusted veterinary references.
Who Runs Shih Tzu Pedia
Shih Tzu Pedia was founded by Shahzad Sadiq, who serves as the site’s editor. Shahzad started the site to give Shih Tzu owners clear, trustworthy answers in one place. As editor, he decides what we publish, checks each article against its sources and keeps older guides up to date.
Shahzad is not a veterinarian. That is why our guides do not rely on opinion. They rely on peer-reviewed studies, veterinary references and guidance from veterinary and breed organizations, and they link to those sources so you can check them yourself.
